atmos Celebrates 25 Years with the Grand Return of atmoscon in April 2025.
The nation's largest sneaker event, "atmoscon", which began in 2016, is making its highly anticipated return after a three-year hiatus!
atmos will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2025. To commemorate this milestone, "atmosconvol.9" will be held under the Japanese theme of "温故知新" which translates to "Learning from the Past to Innovate the Future."
The event will showcase an exhibition that reflects on atmos' 25-year history while also highlighting its ongoing evolution and challenges toward new ventures.
Participating brands, primarily sneaker, sports, and apparel labels, will feature a variety of unique booths and one-of-a-kind experiences.
Attendees can enjoy exclusive content that can only be found at this event, all day long.
General tickets are currently on sale. Tickets for the day are also available, but if you are considering attending, we recommend that you purchase the general tickets in advance, as they are more economical.

Under the name of "The Original," they will feature domestic artists who will inspire the next generation and liven up the venue.

They grew up in different areas and met when they were in their late teens. They realized that music and fashion, which they had always loved, were the things they were most familiar with, and so they began their careers as MCs.

atmos' YouTube channel "atmosTV" will be hosting a talk show over two days! Together with some of Japan's leading sneaker content creators, the talk session will cover a variety of topics, including sneakers, fashion, the history of atmos, and the behind-the-scenes of video production! In the second half, there will be a special raffle with prizes totaling 300,000 yen!
RED BULL
The world's best 1 on 1 breaking battle "Red Bull BC One" will be participating in atmoscon! Breakdancers active around the world will appear in a special talk show. This will be a special cast that will hook into atmoscon's theme "Learning from the past for the new". In addition to the talk show, you might even get to see some of the world's best breakdancers demonstrate their moves!
ALLDAY
ALLDAY, one of the largest street basketball tournaments in Japan, was established in 2005 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. It will be the first time that the tournament will be held! A heated game that is a spin-off of ALLDAY will be held on a half court set up in the venue. After the game, a shooting challenge will be held for the general public, and there will be a chance to win ALLDAY goods and sneakers.

The NIKE booth will feature content titled "Octagon powered by 8" centered on the AIR MAX Dn8, which was launched in March 2025. The octagonal booth will feature experiential activations where you can experience the latest DynamicAIR.

The "one pair" that represents New Balance will be unveiled at atmoscon earlier than anywhere else! At the craftsmanship-themed booth, there will be valuable archive and history displays, as well as NB tests and workshops. The original atmoscon booth will follow the worldview of the products that will be specially developed for this atmoscon. It will explore the history of "SUPERSTAR", which celebrates its 55th anniversary this year, and the history of adidas Originals and atmos.n

The On x atmos collaboration shoe "Cloudmonster Void atmos" will be available at atmoscon ahead of its launch! In honor of this limited edition model with a night cherry blossom motif, the On special booth will have an embodied pod where you can enjoy a "new cherry blossom viewing" experience! At the PUMA booth, a workshop will be held where people can create their own original customizations for the SPEEDCAT.

"MAFATE THREE2 GRID JP" will be released in advance at atmoscon. The campaign visual pays homage to the "bokka" (porters) who carry heavy loads over mountains and carry them to mountain huts. The latest addition to the Vans Premium series, which pursues both design and comfort, "The Premium Old Skool Music Collection," will be on display. The collection is inspired by various music scenes, including the dawn of hardcore punk, Warped Tour, and indie hip-hop of the 2010s. Introducing the DC SHOES x 43Institute collaboration capsule!
A limited collection has been released with the 43Institute, which continues the legacy of DC founder Ken Block. The design is inspired by his four iconic machines.

FILA
FILA's first tennis shoe, the FX-2, was released in 1985 and became synonymous with court shoes. Based on the archives at the FILA Museum (Italy), every detail has been faithfully reproduced. Made by Japanese craftsmen using the board lasting method and featuring sweat-absorbing pigskin lining.

OTD Seoul Fashion Tour
The latest Korean fashion and culture will be introduced through brands representing the hot area of Seoul, including "ASCLO," "Third movement," "NEGATIVETHREE," and "Opening Project." LACOSTE SPINOR ATMOS 225 1 SMA
atmoscon's theme of "Learning from the past for new discoveries" was inspired by a collaborative sneaker that Lacoste also released in 2020. Using the new model "SPINOR" released by Lacoste this fall, they created a collaborative sneaker that also feels new. GYAROMI x atmos
Indie soft vinyl maker GYAROMI and atmos have teamed up to release an atmoscon limited edition color! Cthulhuoid is an original soft vinyl series created by Fujime Teppei (design, sculpting, painting) and kaori (custom paint). By replacing the head and arm parts, you can create a variety of characters. This collaboration has resulted in a special edition that is clad in atmos' corporate color, "atmos blue"! Ghost in the Shell x Kosuke Kawamura x atmos
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the 1995 anime film "Ghost in the Shell," written by Masamune Shirow and directed by Mamoru Oshii, and is a triple collaboration between graphic artist Kosuke Kawamura and the T-shirt and art poster. Graphic artist Kawamura was employed to create a design using collages and shredders. The graphics are reminiscent of posters that existed when the film was released.The T-shirt is a new interpretation and reconstruction of the silkscreen technique that was popular in the United States in the 90's. It is printed using a 15-plate silkscreen print, which is based on our own theory and know-how. It has a new atmosphere that expresses the difficult neon effect and transparency, as well as the texture and noise of the deadstock of the time.
The art poster is printed directly onto an acrylic plate and framed in a special light-proof frame.

Limited collaboration T-shirts between MEW and atmos now on sale!



atmoscon Limited T-shirts
The key visuals for atmoscon were created by video artist OSRIN of the up-and-coming creative group PERIMETRON, and graphic designer Makoto Arai. "Pearl is a low-tech robot, and Jay is a high-tech robot. Since the beginning of atmos, we have created a character and story that represents atmos's will to continue to move forward while updating over a long period of time." The story is centered around a robot character, and grows with the evolution of technology over the years. Atmoscon limited edition T-shirts filled with the story of atmos will be on sale for two days only.

Lil Woody’s
Lil Woody is a burger joint with six locations in Seattle. They serve Seattle-loved burgers at locations inside the Mariners stadium and at the international airport. ・Please take care of your valuables. We cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items.

25 years ago atmoswas built in Harajuku by community.
By the sneaker community specifically.
Since then, we have welcomed sneaker lovers from all over the world to join this community within our atmospheres.
First here in Tokyo and later countries throughout South Ease Asia and beyond.
Today, this community that we helped build so many years ago is one of the most influential groups in world.
Without this community there is no atmos.

About atmoscon
"atmoscon" is a sneaker convention first held in Harajuku in 2016 by atmos, a Tokyo-based sneaker retailer that has grown into a global brand. The first event, "vol. 1," attracted 600 visitors. Since then, it has been held irregularly, expanding as street culture and sneaker popularity grew. By 2019, "vol. 7" saw 4,700 visitors in one day.
In 2025, atmos will celebrate its 25th anniversary by bringing back "atmoscon" after a break due to the pandemic. The second chapter of "atmoscon" will go beyond sneakers, incorporating music, food, sports, art, and more, aiming to become Asia's leading cultural convention.
